JAMES T. (JIM) HARRISON
ATTORNEY AND COUNSELOR AT LAW

          Jim Harrison is the principal attorney at Harrison Law Offices, P.C., having founded the firm in 1991.  Jim is a life-long resident of McHenry County, a 1976 graduate of Marian Central High School, a 1978 graduate of McHenry County College, a 1986 graduate of Rockford College and a 1991 graduate of the John Marshall Law School. 

          Jim has 20-years of public employment experience beginning with his employment as a McHenry County Sheriff’s Deputy from 1981 through 1989 and then as a Special Assistant State’s Attorney for the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office from 1992 to 2005.   

          During law school, Jim worked as a private detective, a conservation police officer, and later as a legal assistant and then staff attorney for a labor union representing public employees.  In 1991, Jim Harrison founded Harrison Law Offices in Woodstock, Illinois, and has represented employers and employees in private and public employment matters ever since.

CAROLYN HARRISON
EXECUTIVE LEGAL ASSISTANT

          Carolyn Harrison is the executive legal assistant at Harrison Law Offices, P.C.  Carolyn has been with Harrison Law Offices since 1994.  Starting with a client’s initial contact with Harrison Law Offices through the final resolution of the client’s case, Carolyn is the hub of all communication between Harrison Law Offices and its clients.  Carolyn maintains all physical and electronic client’ files and maintains client’ billing.  Carolyn is the litigation paralegal for all cases that advance to trial.  Carolyn started at Harrison Law Offices as a receptionist/file clerk, she advanced to litigation assistant/paralegal, then to administrative assistant, and finally to her current position of executive legal assistant.
